Bio:
It wasn’t until Airion and his wife tried to get a tattoo removed that he even considered building something in the tattoo removal space. He contacted a clinic with multiple locations, one gave him a fairly low quote, while the other quoted a much higher price for what seemed like the same treatment. Even when he reached out to a completely separate clinic, the follow-up became relentless, with constant phone calls pushing him to book… before he even had a basic understanding of what to expect. He and his wife just wanted foundational knowledge: how the process worked, what to consider, and where to begin before committing to the investment.
Frustrated and confused, he turned to Reddit to vent. To his surprise, the response was overwhelmingly supportive. Dozens of people shared similar stories and encouraged him to build something better.
He started with a simple survey to collect pricing data and the community quickly helped shape it. They offered ideas, filled it out, and made it clear they weren’t just confused about cost they also didn’t know how to evaluate clinics. What began as a price transparency project organically evolved into Ink-Removal.com: a free, community-rooted tool built to answer two of the biggest questions in tattoo removal: how much it costs, and where to go.
With a background in digital product design, fintech, and trust-first platforms, Airion and his team are focused on making the tattoo removal process easier, more transparent, and genuinely useful for both patients and clinics.
